Holman Moving Systems Adds Eight New Drivers to the Delaware Fleet in 2011

-- Fleet Additions to Support Local and Long Distance Household Moving and Freight Shipping --
New Castle, DE – Holman Moving Systems, an agent for United Van Lines in New Jersey and Delaware, today announced the addition of eight new drivers to the fleet in 2011. The new drivers will all be based out of the Delaware terminal and will cover local and long distance household moving, as well as special freight shipping. They include:
Kashwar (Kash) Khelawan - Kash started in June and will handle moves up to 1,700 miles. He lives in New York and has been hauling household goods since 1993. This is Kash’s second tenure with Holman Moving Systems. His father Moniram Khelawan and brother Ramesh Khelawan also drive for the company.
Lenard Phillips – Lenard started in May and specializes in special freight shipping on the special commodities team. He lives in New Mexico and has been driving since 1985.
Landon Cates – Landon started in May and will handle moves that are 1,700 miles or farther as a continental driver for the fleet. He lives in California and has been hauling household goods since 1986.
Ryan Leager – Ryan started in May and will handle moves up to 500 miles as a short haul driver. Ryan worked on jobs and in the warehouse for Holman Moving Systems since 2002, but this is his start as a driver for the company.
Ramesh (Ram) Khelawan – Ram started in April and will handle moves up to 500 miles as a straight truck driver. He adds two trucks to the fleet. Ram lives in New York and has been moving household goods since 1993. He drives with his father, Moniram Khelawan, and his brother Kash Khelawan also drives for Holman.
James Corey – James started in April and will handle moves that are 1,700 miles or farther. He lives in Pennsylvania and has been driving since 1993. James is also a boomerang hire – he drove for Holman Moving Systems from April 2000 – July 2007.
Mark Jordan – Mark started in February and specializes in special freight shipping on the special commodities fleet. He lives in Texas and has been driving since 1989. He began shipping electronics in 2007.
Johnnie Conyers - Johnnie started in January and will handle moves that are 1,700 miles or farther as a continental driver for the fleet. He lives in North Carolina and has been a driver since 1993.

Drivers must meet a series of strict driving and safety requirements to be considered for employment with Holman Moving Systems. Prior to considering any applications, Holman obtains driving and safety inspection history, and performs a comprehensive safety analysis that includes three years of driving history, a current motor vehicle report, any current rating (including a claims record), a drug test and a criminal background check.
